According to PSM, The Unofficial Playstation Magazine, Playstation 3 will be launched in the begininning of November, in time for the post-Thanksgiving shopping period, at a price of $399 in the US, €322 for Europe, and ¥45,965 in Japan.  While this report is still unconfirmed by Sony, PSM has been a very reliable source of rumors in the past.  They also report within PSM that the final controller design for PS3 and the launch lineup will be announced at E3.  Finally, it is believed that the Playstation online service will be launched as a free service simultenously with PS3.
