PS3 Online Service to be Called Playstation HUB
According to an unnamed source close to the development of PS3, Sony’s online service rumored to rival Xbox Live, will be called Playstation HUB, and offer many of the same features that Xbox Live does. It will include integration with PSP online services, though the details are currently unknown. It is also being described to developers that the service will not be free, with a “subscription service”. The service is being developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, and there is heavy pressure by Sony president Howard Stringer to provide capability to distribute music and movies, as a competitor to iTunes. It is expected that this HUB service will be announced in the next couple of weeks by Sony

Experts can not seem to agree, saying anywhere between $400-600.
