Metal Gear Solid 4 To Be the Final Game in the Metal Gear Solid Series

Metal Gear Solid 4 is reported to be the final game of the Metal Gear Solid series, at least for game creater, Hideo Kojima.  Kojima has recently announced that this will be his final MGS game that he will be involved with, and experts agree that it is very unlikely for another employee of Konami to continue the series.  It is also rumored that a major character is going to leave the series when Kojima leaves, though the exact character is unknown.  They also announced that a special DVD, entitled Metal Gear Solid Saga Vol. 1, will be made available to anyone who preorders Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, at any major video game retailer.  This DVD will have five chapters, each lasting 30 minutes, covering all the games in the MGS series, including in chronological order: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake (released only in Japan on the MSX), Metal Gear Solid, and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.  There will also be interviews with Kojima, and talk regarding MGS4.
