Reuters is reporting that Sony has confirmed that Playstation 3 will in fact be released in Spring 2006, despite rumors that the company was thinking about delaying the launch. That would give Sony a launch window from March 21, 2006 to June 21, 2006. However, they have yet to announce what regions the Playstaion 3 will be released in Spring 2006. It is most likely going to follow the same launch pattern as Playstation 2, launching in Japan first, and then around Thanksgiving launch in the US.
