Steven Spielberg to Design Three New Games For EA

Famous movie director, Steven Spielberg, has signed a contact with EA to design three completely new games. His job will be “to shape the concept, story, and visual appearance” of these games. The topics of these games are still currently unknown, however, they are not expected for a couple of years, as they are still in a very prelimenary state as of now.

Spielberg will work in Electronic Art’s new offices in Los Angeles, known as EALA, which has produced past hits, including the Medal of Honor series, Command and Conquer series, and the Lord of the Rings series. Interestingly enough, it was Spielberg who developed the idea of the first Medal of Honor game in 1999. This agreement will give EA the complete rights to the games, but Spielberg’s company, Amblin, the rights to create any movies based upon the games.
