Ubisoft, the company which produces the Splinter Cell series, as well as many other prominent series, has announced that the 4th edition of the game will be released in the spring of 2006. They have also confirmed that this newest Splinter Cell game will be available for the next generation consoles, though they did not mention specific consoles. The publisher released very little details about the acutal game, just saying, the game “is taking the saga of Sam Fisher into entirely new territory, expanding the story and depth of his character.” I guess we will have to wait and see…
