At the Tokyo International Digital Conference, Sony President, Ken Kutaragi, announced that the Playstation 3 will be capable of producing 120 frames per second, even though modern televisions aren’t able to refresh 120 times per second. The advantage created by this, will be when the technology does reach 120 FPS, it will be able to completely knock out the competition. Most notablly, Madden 06, for the Xbox 360 will only support 30 frames per second.
