New Poll in Japan: 72% of Relevant Gamers will Purchase PS3
In a new poll by Nikkei, released today, revealed that there is a lot of hype about PS3, in Japan anyways. 70% of relevant gamers said they were “interested in purchasing Playstation 3.” When narrowed down to only the people who will purchase a next generation console, it was found 72% will buy PS3, 22% the Nintendo Revolution, and a mere 6% the Xbox 360. 60% of the people who said they would buy PS3, said they would be willing to spend the money, even if the cost surpasses 20,000 yens, which is approximately $200.
